Everything guests ask before booking a stay at Vivere Azure — the journey, the resort, the reef, and what's included.
Vivere Azure is approximately 2.5 hours from Makati via SLEX and the STAR Tollway — paved all the way to Mabini, Batangas. From Manila itself, allow around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic.
Take SLEX southbound, then exit onto the STAR Tollway. Follow the route to Mabini, Batangas. The road is paved all the way to the resort — no rough roads or river crossings. We recommend leaving Manila by 10am on weekdays or 6–7am on weekends to avoid traffic. Detailed turn-by-turn directions are on our Reservation page.
Yes — most of our guests self-drive. We have on-site parking available, with off-site parking as overflow depending on availability. Valet service is complimentary for all resort guests.
Vivere Azure has 13 boutique suites across two collections: the Main House Suites and the Casas at the Villa. Each suite is named and individually designed — no two are identical.
Vivere Azure is not suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations, toddlers under 3, or seniors who have difficulty with stairs. The property involves multiple stairways between levels, and there is no lift. If you're traveling with young children or guests who need step-free access, please contact us before booking so we can advise honestly on which suites and areas work best for your group.
Yes — families are welcome at Vivere Azure. We have a kids' menu and our team is happy to accommodate family groups. We do ask that families with very young children or toddlers contact us before booking, as the property has multiple stairways and no lift. Families with children who are comfortable on stairs and around the sea will find the resort a genuinely relaxed and beautiful setting.
Yes, we have an infinity pool overlooking the sea. The pool is open to all guests staying at the resort — there is no age restriction.
A few things set us apart. First, we are directly above one of the most biodiverse reefs in the Philippines — snorkeling is right in front of the house, no boat required. Second, every stay is full-board when booked direct: meals are included, as are snorkel gear and kayaks. Third, we have 13 suites and we keep it that way — this is not a large hotel. The experience is quieter, more personal, and closer to staying in a well-appointed family home by the sea than a conventional resort.
Not at all. Anilao is one of the best snorkeling destinations in the Philippines, and the reef directly in front of Vivere Azure is accessible to anyone who can swim. Many of our guests have never dived and have no intention of starting — they come for the water, the quiet, and the sunsets.
Yes. Snorkeling requires no certification and no prior experience. Snorkel gear is included in your stay when you book direct. The reef in front of the resort is shallow enough for confident swimmers and rich enough to be genuinely worth the time.
No. Vivere Azure is a boutique beachfront resort — we are not a dive operation. Diving can be arranged during your stay through a partner operator, but it is not the resort's primary offering. Many of our guests do not dive at all. If you are a diver, you will have access to some of the best dive sites in the country from our doorstep.
Yes, diving can be arranged during your stay. Equipment rental is handled by our dive partner — guests are also welcome to bring their own gear. Contact us when booking to arrange.
The reef directly in front of Vivere Azure is calm and accessible. Children who are confident swimmers and comfortable in the sea will enjoy snorkeling here. We recommend children snorkel with a parent or accompanying adult. Life vests and appropriately sized snorkel gear are available on request.
When you book direct on vivereazure.com, your stay includes full-board meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), snorkel gear, kayak use, Wi-Fi, and complimentary valet parking. Inclusions may vary on OTA bookings — we recommend booking direct to get the full package.
Full-board meals — soup, main, and dessert for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — are available when you book direct on vivereazure.com. If you book through an OTA (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia), meal packages may not be available. Contact us directly to confirm what's included in your chosen package.
Arrival day: Check in from 2pm, settle into your suite, and decompress. By 5pm, you'll want to be on your private balcony — that's when the light on the water is at its best. Dinner is at 7pm, served in our dining room or in your suite if you'd rather stay in. Most guests are asleep by 9pm.
Early risers have the option of a morning hike or a run along the shore before the heat comes in.
Full day: Breakfast from 9am. By 10am, snorkeling is right in front of the house — no boat, no transfers, just walk in. Lunch at noon. The afternoon is yours; most guests find the infinity pool at 4pm and don't leave until the sun drops. At 5pm, the Mediterra huts are the spot for sunset. Dinner at 7pm.
If you'd rather be active, a sunset walk is an easy option before dinner.
Yes. Booking direct on vivereazure.com gives you the best available rate, full-board meals, snorkel gear, kayaks, and direct contact with our team before and during your stay. OTA bookings go through a third party — meal inclusions may not carry over, and any special requests take longer to reach us.
Book directly at vivereazure.com/reservation — our booking engine is powered by Cloudbeds. You can also contact us via email or phone if you'd like help choosing the right suite or package before committing.
Check-in is at 2pm. Check-out is at 12 noon. Early check-in and late check-out may be available depending on occupancy — please contact us in advance to request.
